The college is named after Late S. M. Dr. Bapuji Salunkhe. This educational institution is the second largest institution in Maharashtra that runs more than 405 centers imparting the educational & Cultural values of the Late Dr. Bapuji Salunkhe to spread primary, secondary and higher education in rural and hilly, and urban areas of Maharashtra & Karnataka. Nearly two lakh Students have been learning in the institution.
